THC Distillate in Canada: The Complete Buyer’s Guide

THC distillate is one of the most versatile cannabis extracts available. It is potent, clean and easy to use in many ways, from vape carts to homemade edibles. This guide explains what distillate is, how it compares to other extracts, which products we offer and how to use and store it.

At Eden Goods, our distillate range includes bulk Delta 9 distillate, distillate vape carts and pens, THC tinctures and Phoenix Tears. Every order ships discreetly anywhere in Canada.

What Is THC Distillate?

Distillate is a highly refined cannabis extract. Producers first extract cannabinoids from the plant, then purify the oil through distillation. The result is a clear to golden oil with a very high THC content and very little natural taste or smell.

Because it is so pure, distillate is often used as a base for other products. Terpenes can be added back for flavour, as in many vape carts. For a full introduction, read our beginner’s guide to THC distillate.

Delta 9 Distillate

Delta 9 THC is the main psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis. Our bulk distillate is a Delta 9 product, lab-tested at 90% THC or higher. It goes through a double refinement process and is enhanced with natural terpenes. You can choose Sativa, Indica or neutral options.

How Potent Is Distillate?

Distillate is one of the strongest cannabis products you can buy. A very small amount contains a large dose of THC. Always start with a tiny serving and increase slowly. This is especially true for raw bulk distillate, which has not been portioned into fixed servings.

Distillate vs Other Cannabis Extracts

Distillate is just one type of extract. Others, like live resin, RSO and hash, keep more of the original plant compounds. The main differences come down to purity, flavour and how each one is used. Our article on solventless vs solvent-based concentrates explains how different extraction methods compare.

Extract	THC	Flavour	Common uses
Distillate	90% or higher (our bulk)	Neutral, terpenes often added	Vapes, edibles, tinctures
Phoenix Tears (RSO)	About 70% (ours)	Strong, earthy, full spectrum	Taken orally or added to food
Live resin	High	Rich, close to the fresh plant	Vapes and dabbing
Shatter	High	Mild to medium	Dabbing

How to Choose the Right Distillate Product

The best product depends on how you want to use distillate and how much you need.

For Edibles and Tinctures

If you want to make your own edibles or tinctures, bulk Delta 9 distillate gives you the most control and the best price per gram. Its neutral taste makes it easy to mix into recipes.

For a Ready-Made Oral Option

If you prefer a measured oil you can take by the dropper, a Vibz THC tincture is the simplest choice. For a full-spectrum oil, consider Phoenix Tears.

How to Use THC Distillate

Distillate is very potent, so a careful approach is important. Here are some general steps.

1. Choose your method: vaping, a tincture or adding it to food.
2. Start with the smallest possible amount, such as a single short puff or a fraction of a dropper.
3. Wait before taking more. Vaping works within minutes, while edibles and tinctures can take 30 minutes to 2 hours.
4. Increase slowly over several sessions until you find your ideal amount.
5. Never drive or operate machinery after consuming THC.

If you use bulk distillate in cooking, mix it evenly into a fat such as butter or oil so each serving contains a similar amount.

Tips for Storing Distillate

• Keep distillate in an airtight container, away from light and heat.
• Store it in a cool place to keep it stable.
• Warm the container gently in your hand or in warm water if the oil is too thick to dispense.
• Keep vape carts and pens upright when not in use.
• Label all products clearly and keep them out of reach of children and pets.

Cooking with Distillate: Simple Tips

Bulk distillate is a favourite for home cooks because it is already activated. That means it does not need to be heated for a long time before it works, unlike raw flower. Here are a few tips to get consistent results.

• Measure carefully. Work out the total THC in your recipe, then divide it by the number of servings.
• Mix the distillate into a fat, such as melted butter or coconut oil, before adding it to the rest of the recipe.
• Stir well so every portion contains a similar amount.
• Avoid very high temperatures for long periods, as excessive heat can reduce potency.
• Label your finished edibles clearly with the dose per piece.

Homemade edibles can be much stronger than expected, so always test a small piece first and wait at least 2 hours before having more.
